At Pierce's, and especially during the holidays, we realize there are many people far less fortunate than ourselves. Every year, we'll pick a charity and ask our staff and vendors to join with us in support of a good cause. Here is just one holiday story we'd like to share:

Last year during the holidays, we learned about a Virginia family whose son needed a kidney transplant. While his brother was able to donate a kidney for the surgery, the father was out of work and had lost the family home. They had no place to live and were unsure how they would overcome their hardships.

Through the generosity of Habitat for Humanity, the family was able to find a home and recover from their hardships. Wanting to lift their spirits further, especially this time of year, Pierce's provided holiday meals and extended friendship during this difficult time.
